English Premier League Standings: Manchester United Paste Manchester City
Manchester United (MU) did not let Manchester City alone controlled the English Premier League 2017/2018. Jose Mourinho’s side now match City’s points collection after winning against Everton.
Previously, the top of the Premier League standings taken Manchester City from the hands of Manchester United on Saturday (16/09/2017). That’s because they are able to party six goals without reply at Watford’s cage. However, City’s advantage did not last long.
Red Devils successfully maximize the game against Everton at Old Trafford on Sunday (17/09/2017), to reap the full points. Without mercy they beat Everton 4-0 through Antonio Valencia goals in the fourth minute, Henrikh Mkhitaryan 83, Romelu Lukaku 89, and Anthony Martial’s 90th + 2 penalty.
Thanks to the victory, Manchester United now share the top of the standings with Manchester City. In addition to collecting 13 points, they also have the same goal difference and goal productivity.
On the other hand, Chelsea failed to put pressure on the Manchester duo. That’s because they only got one point after a goalless draw with Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.
